WHO WE ARE

We are an award-winning internet marketing and web design located in Port Coquitlam. Our team is made up of local professionals who are experts in their roles. Our clients are local trades people, business professionals and non-profit organizations.

We are currently looking for an Intermediate Web Developer who understands SEO best practices when it comes to web development to join our team. We value real-time interaction between team members to allow collaboration, be part of a team as well as to ensure project deadlines are met and each team member has the support and training that they need. Subcontractors will not be considered.

This is a full-time position with benefits.

This role will include building new websites, making updates to existing websites, completing technical SEO strategies, managing the server, organizing website projects, and custom coding when required, in addition to other tasks as required.

The successful candidate will have the ability to think outside the box and take control to ensure tasks are completed while providing terrific customer service. We are looking for a leader with a can-do attitude.

YOU CAN DEMONSTRATE THE FOLLOWING:

• Ability to speak directly with customers. Every member of our team spends a few hours each month answering support questions, having 1-on-1 calls with clients, and responding to client feedback.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Experience developing in an agency environment is an asset.
• Have 5 or more years of experience building custom WordPress themes/plugins.
• 3 or more years of PHP experience.
• Experience with building custom WooCommerce themes would be an asset.
• Have a good understanding of CSS and write organized sass code.
• Have 2 or more years of Javascript experience is an asset.
• Able to write clean vanilla Javascript or JQuery code.
  • Javascript frameworks such as angularjs, react.js would be an asset.
• You are comfortable using GIT-centric flow.
