This month is back to school season. But don’t worry, there are still plenty of fun things to do in and around Vancouver during the month of September 2017. Check out our list!
Guns n’ Roses Concert at BC Place
Kick off September 2017 by celebrating that we won’t have to endure the November Rain quite yet – at the Guns n’ Roses concert. The concert will be taking place on Friday, September 1 at BC Place. Royal Blood will be opening for the show. Get your tickets while you still can.
Nikkei Matsuri
On September 2 and 3, come out and enjoy a celebration of Japanese culture at Nikkei Matsuri. Activities will start at 11:00 am and run until 7:00 pm both days. There will be food, games and traditional performances to enjoy. Entry to the garden is free, but you will need to pay a $3 admission fee if you want to take part in any of the indoor activities. Bands on the Beach 2017
Head out to Harrison Hot Springs between 1-6 pm on September 2 and 3 for an afternoon full of music at Bands on the Beach 2017. View more information about the event.
Vancouver Fringe Festival
From September 7 to 17, the Fringe Festival is back! This is an amazing festival full of theatre performances all over Vancouver. Get all the information about shows and pricing, and download a program guide.
Fraser Valley Food Truck Festivals
The Fraser Valley Food Truck Festival will be rolling through Fort Langley on September 9, Vancouver on September 10 and Maple Ridge on September 23. Come out to one (or all!) of these festivals and enjoy the many different kinds of food these trucks have to offer. For more information about these events, check out the website.
Sky Pilot Race
Do you enjoy running, taking in breathtaking views, and a challenge? Register for the Sky Pilot Race taking place on September 10. There will be a 14 km race, a 25 km race, and a kids’ race – all starting at the Sea to Sky Gondola. Head over to the website to check out the race maps.
Whistler Village Beer Festival 2017
From September 13 to 17, come enjoy a day or two at the Whistler Village Beer Festival. With several events and, of course, all the beer you could possibly want, it will surely be an event to remember. Check out the website for all the information about the beers, food, events, and pricing.

Country Celebration

Riverfest
