Christmas FlyOver Canada

Holiday Traditions at the Vancouver Aquarium

Heritage Christmas | Burnaby Village Museum
Stroll through the village to see holiday wreaths, cedar swags, and vintage-themed Christmas displays. Heritage Christmas will be open from November 25 to January 5. Admission is free for the family; carousel rides are $2.65 each. Visit their website for more information.
Vancouver Christmas Tree Lighting
The Vancouver Christmas Tree Lighting is back for its 11th year. Head down to the Vancouver Art Gallery Plaza on Friday, December 1 to watch four magnificent holiday trees come alive. This free family-friendly event features live entertainment, free cookies and hot chocolate, local food trucks, and fun craft activities for kids!
Ugly Christmas Sweater Dash
The Ugly Sweater Dash is a community event taking place in Port Moody on December 2. This dash features an untimed 5km run, holiday music, craft beers, and family entertainment. The event raises money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of BC & The Yukon. Click here to register.

Vancouver Santa Claus Parade
The Vancouver Santa Claus Parade will be taking place on Sunday, December 3. It is a great Christmas event for the whole family to enjoy, with floats, marching bands, and Santa! The parade will go along Georgia Street, down Howe Street, until Davie Street.
CP Holiday Train
The CP Holiday Train will be making its way across Canada for its 19th year, this year. The holiday train features impressive light displays and a free concert for the whole family to enjoy! Remember to bring a food donation for the local food bank. The train will be arriving in Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Port Moody, and Port Coquitlam on December 16 and 17.
