10 Things to do in Vancouver | June 2017
Summer has finally arrived in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. With the school year, coming to a close, we thought we would compile a list of 10 of the best things to do in Vancouver during the month of June 2017. We have a little something for everyone!
Bard on the Beach
Running this year from June 1st until September 23rd, Bard on the Beach puts a new take on beloved Shakespeare plays. The features this year are Much Ado About Nothing, The Winter’s Tale, The Merchant of Venice and The Two Gentleman of Verona. Tickets can be purchased online, here. Be sure to get your tickets early as they will sell out quickly.
Vancouver International Children’s Festival
The Vancouver International Children’s Festival takes place from May 29th – June 4th. It hosts many performances and activities for children. Check out the schedule and order your tickets, here.
Night Markets
There are several night markets open in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland this summer.
- The Richmond Night Market runs from May 12th to October 9th
- The Illumination Summer Night Market runs from May 5th to September 10th
- The Shipyards Night Market runs from May 5th to September 29th
Vancouver Craft Beer & Wine Festival
The Vancouver Craft Beer Week Festival is back! Come enjoy over 300 beers and ciders from over 100 Craft Breweries and Cideries on June 3rd and 4th at the PNE Fairgrounds. MEC Trail Race Three

Surrey Greek Food Festival
On June 9th to June 18th, join the celebration at the 26th annual Surrey Greek Food Festival. With live entertainment and amazing food, this smaller festival is perfect for someone who prefers smaller crowds. For more information, click here.
BC Highland Games and Scottish Festival
