10 Things to do in Vancouver | August 2017
While it feels like July only just arrived, the month is already drawing to a close. To help you take full advantage of the final month of summer vacation, here is our list of ten great things to do in and around Vancouver during the month of August 2017.
Waterfront Cinema at Canada Place
The Waterfront Cinema at Canada Place is running from July 27th until August 31st. Every Thursday night, come watch a movie under the stars. This is a family-friendly event – no alcohol or smoking is permitted. See the full list of movies and their screening dates, here.
Vancouver Bach Festival
From August 1st to 11th, enjoy the Vancouver Bach Festival. This festival features a fantastic series of concerts with guest artists from around the globe. BC Day Long Weekend Festivities

Picnic on the Pier
On Wednesday, August 9th, support the Peace Arch Hospital Foundation by attending Picnic On The Pier! Enjoy a fine dining experience right on the pier in White Rock, followed by a cocktail reception with live entertainment. Abbotsford International Airshow

Music on the Wharf

On Sunday, August 19th, celebrate Indian culture at India LIVE. This event is hosted by the South Asian Family Association (SAFA) and is free and open to all ages.
