The days are getting longer, the weather is getting hotter, and Vancouver is starting to buzz with summer energy. At Longevity Graphics, we’re looking forward to fun in the sun, relaxing outdoors, and some of the great events coming up this June 2018. Check them out!

Arts Club presents ‘Mamma Mia!’

When: May 10 – August 12

The family favourite musical that is sure to have you dancing and singing along to its classic score is running now! Laugh, cry, and sing to the smash-hit story, based on the songs of ABBA. Playing from May 10 until August 12 at the Stanley Industrial Alliance stage. Book your tickets today!

Japan Market

When: June 3

Come and experience a little bit of Japanese culture at UBC Robson Square. At the market, you’ll be able to find all manner of Japanese arts and crafts, accessories, clothing, decoration, and more. Workshops in origami, massage and jewellery making will also be available at the market, so pre-register for your (free!) tickets today!

Bryan Adams at Rogers Arena

When: June 6

Grammy-nominated Canadian rock legend Bryan Adams is coming to Vancouver this June 2018 as a stop on his Ultimate Tour. Find tickets today, and see what Canadian rock ‘n roll is all about.

Italian Days on the Drive

When: June 10

Take part in this vibrant block party celebrating Italian culture and heritage. With over 120 vendors, performers, and merchants, there’s something for visitors of all ages. Commercial Drive, home to Vancouver’s Little Italy, is a stunning location for this lively shindig and best of all, it’s free! Come down to Commercial Drive on June 10 and watch the streets come alive.

Bard on the Beach

When: June 12 – September 22

Bard on the Beach returns this summer to Vanier Park, mounting a whopping four productions of classical work. Come take in the spectacle of live theatre in the masterfully crafted mountings of Macbeth, Timon of Athens, Lysistrata, or As You Like It. 6th Annual Evening of Inspiration Gala | ACCESS Youth

When: June 16

ACCESS Youth is excited to be bringing to life their 6th Annual Evening of Inspiration Gala. It is one of the main fundraisers they host each year and it provides them with a unique opportunity to highlight their programs, staff, and success through stories. Purchase tickets, here.

Concord Pacific Dragon Boat Festival

When: June 22 – June 24

North America’s largest competitive boat racing festival returns to False Creek, pitting the highest calibre rowing teams against one another for the championship. The three-day festival offers free entertainment, activities for children, art and cultural exhibitions, and of course, spectating of the some of the best dragon boat racing in the world.

TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival

When: June 22 – July 1

Boasting over 1,800 artists and more than 500 thousand attendants, the Vancouver Jazz Festival has something for everyone. Over the two week festival, some 300 hundred concerts will take place in clubs, restaurants, bars, and outdoor spaces all over Vancouver. Check out the festival guide and enjoy some cool jazz in the summer heat.

Greek Day on Broadway

When: June 24

Join the enormous block party dedicated to celebrating Greek culture this month. Five blocks of Broadway will be teeming with Greek food and drinks, vendors, entertainment, and live music. This event is free and always a lively time – so enjoy the sun and the fun of Greek Day on Broadway!

Golden Spike Days

When: June 29 – July 2

This family-oriented festival in Port Moody’s beautiful Rocky Point Park celebrates the construction of the Canadian Pacific Railway. Live music, bubble soccer, face painting, a talent show, and a craft beer garden are just a sample of the exciting activities offered at this festival. Come out to Rocky Point at the end of June 2018 for some great free entertainment and fun!
